An incorrect ground or open (don't remember if it's a normally open or normally closed circuit) would not signal the ECU to a "faulty" IMRC condition... Thus the possible way and why I was telling him to troubleshoot this circuit.
The quote you used of mine concerning dyno plots has to do with fuel and timing curves changing without this circuit disabled and some way of adding more fuel to match more air... A little confused as to what you're trying to say...
