Have it. Can be annoying though.

I'll agree with all of you...it's a pain to play the game when you only want
the window down a bit. Chrysler has a two position switch which is much better.
Push down to the first click and the window works as any other. Push all the
way down to the second click and autodown takes over.
This is offset by Ford's better cruise control, which allows you to increase/
decrease the speed by 1mph with each click up or down. Chrysler allows you to
increase speed by 2mph with each click of the ACCEL button, but you can't decrease
speed by clicking the coast button.
Each manufacturer has their own peculiarities!

I don't have it and I have a SE.

I have it and I hated it at first but then got used to it. I like it now I drive on and off military bases quite a bit so it is good for checking ID etc.

After I installed my alarm system all four switches are now auto-up and down. That's nice...

What alarm did you install, and was there any special module to do that?

Considering I worked for the company, I should tell you their name, ATS; but they're a dealer only company. It's really an Auto-Mate system (Same as Viper, Clifford, etc) which is actually made by a company called DEI. Confused? If I remember, it's model 857 on the Automate line.
