Tboner, I totally agree with you and will take your advice and use it.. Keyser.. I can program my own keys myself but you cant program them if you have a PATS code disabling your car.. if the light on the dash is flashing fast then you are unable to do that.. as far as the 37.50 Is that just for a programmed key? What is costing me 400 bucks is them going in with their soo called really expensive computer and clearing my PATS code or codes then reprogramming my keys all over again. Clearing PATS codes is different from clearing CEL codes... suppsoedly you have to use a totally different computer to do that.. just about any shop can clear CEL codes if they have a scannerr but mainly only ford dealers have the PATS computer... Well as of now all of my stereo equip. is out of my car. I am going to take the dash apart today to see if I have pulled any wires off. When I took the XM radio system out a long time ago I was pulling on a wire pretty hard to get it out and it may have been wrapped around another wire and knocked it loose. I have a 92 Jeep Wrangler Renegade and I took the whole dash off of it to put speakers in it.. you can do it without doing that but you cut the living hell out of your hands and it is really tedious. Anyway I got it all back together, went out that night to a bar and come to find out None of my turn signals, horn or brake lights were working at all! I checked all of the fuses and relays and everything was fine.. so I took the speedo out and looked at all of the wired and plugs....low and behold there was a plug along the sterring column that had come undone somehow.. plugged it in and wallah!!! spelling?? LOL anyway it was fixed...so it finally got above 15 degrees here today and I am going to go get in my car and see if I see anything.. wish me luck!!
