Why do you have to pay again. Sounds to me like the dealership isn't getting the job done on the repair. Doesn't their repair work come with any kind of warranty?
I think I'd go in there and speak with the service manager, show him the receipts and say, comeon guys, this is really embarassing for you that you cant get it fixed. Tell him you've done your part by returning to them and ask him if your check/cc bounced. Bottom line, if your money was good, the repair should be good as well.
If this doesn't get the right results, offer to share the story about their competence with customers in the showroom on a busy Saturday, complete with copies of your service tickets (address and phone# blocked out of course) to any customer that might be considering purchasing a vehicle from this fine Ford dealership.
Tell the SM, you would like to work with him, and not get the attention of others.
