my brother had a 95 cougar with a 3.8 and only a k&n that ran a 16.89 so with a cougar weighing about 3800 or so because of irs and the mustang being 3300-3400-I personally think you will have some trouble beating him.. I'm sorry but auto zetecs are pretty bad(not knocking zetecs, just the efficiency of the tranny), hell my brother's auto duratech couldn't be my stick zetec, so that says enough right there. good luck though

id ont think its a question of hp i think its a question of torque.

Well since their is a video on here that shows that a duratec auto beats a MTX zetec, I have call you on that BS. Only way that is possible is if your bro can't drive a ATX, which if that is the case the apple usually doesn't fall far from the tree.
If your comming to nationals in chicago I will show you first hand why I called you on that B.S. Of course that is allmotor. On a track of course!

both engines were moddified simarly,though it's quite possible the duratec had a bit more HP coming from its mods.

Looks Like someone will have to come to Route 66 with me this summer... being as you live just a few miles north of me....

Kevin who has a ATX duratec and I ran similar times last year... there is video of mine and his run against each other on www.myfamily.com and if you look at the vid I started off way behind him and almost caught him at the end.. his best time is a 16.9 mine is a 16.8 on the same day at the same track. and if your sig is all you have for mods you don't stand a chance against me... since kevin has more mods that that.

well I am planning more mods than that...but yeah we will have to go against each other this summer sometime. Anyhow when I saw your username it didnt even register to me who you are. Your video was the video I was referring to. Didn't mean to offend you or anything, I actually thought you were a punk blowin smoke. But we will see what happens at Route 66 this summer. Granted at the present time I know I can't run a 17, so mod money has to pour in from somewhere.
