pop the little cap off where your door handle is, unscrew with phillips, now pop the door handle enclsoure off and disconnect the wires (little release button) and now take each piece out and press the release clips to open the control switches up, now happy soddering

I have taken my dash a part many times, took everything apart, and it all still works. Check how you put it back together

Yeah I would love to do this project this weekend also (my tranny died so my car is just sitting in the drivway for now) Are they 3mm LEDs? and where can you buy these LEDs?
Thanks also is it only one LED per switch or two? How many to do ALL the switches? Thanks

Jerry

Answer's to all your questions:

http://www.byaroch.com/Cougar_LED/Cougar_LED.htm

You can buy the 3mm leds at Radio Shack ($3 each) but they have to order them. There was a link to a site that had them for $.50 but he sold out and will supposedly get more "towards the end of January" (Now, I hope). I'm waiting for his site to restock, and then ordering a bunch.

You would need 7 for window switches, and 2 for unlock, so 9 total.
