Is that all that needs to be done to extend the redline to 7.2K??????

Well, you need to order a chip from a company, either Superchip or Diablosport. They'll need the computer code, so they can give you the correct chip. No guarantee the redline will be raised, as some computer codes are more difficult to add the chip to, from what I understand. Those are off the shelf chips, if you want a custom burn, it'll be more. There's a Diablosport company in La Mirada, I was quoted 425 for a custom burn.

Contact StreetFlight and they can burn the chip with the higher revlimit. It is NOT that difficult to adjust. They will need year and computer box code. Keyser (the resident chip expert) can tweak the stock setting and as long as you are running normally, you shouldn't need A/F, Timing, or Fuel map adjustments. then you will have a flip chip with many expanded abilities... Mwa-hahaha

Well, since it's already hijacked... I think I'm going to have Keyser raise my redline to 7200 RPM when I'm down there (2 weeks). w/ the oil issues and whatnot, I dont want to raise the redline too much.

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what kind of dollars did you pay the SHO Shop?
Thanks

Well let's put it this way...
He can't clutch & brake at the same time and he can't shift & steer at the same time.
We won't even bring up how painful it is to sit down either...

Pretty much sums it up...it was quite expensive, but for me, it was worth it. I didn't have to turn one wrench, and all I did was wait. And I got a 12 month/12k mile warranty, which will last all of six to eight months .
Everytime I fire up the car, and light up the tires in first gear without revving the motor and dropping the clutch, it was all worth it. And I'll get a few dyno pulls to verify the hp!
