Seems liek you didn't cut any corners. Was there a reason you stuck with the 2.5 valves?

contourchic, nick, trapps, shaun, thanks for all the compliments! I've had the car back for almost two weeks now, and it's awesome. It'll light up the tires (225/40-18's) in first gear without having to drop the clutch. Just let out the clutch at idle, nail the throttle, feel the car loose traction. It's insane, and I've only put about 500 miles on the new motor, clutch and trans. And this all happens before the car hits 5K rpms.
obicanobi0, I stuck with 2.5 L valves because A)Vadim at SHOshop said they really don't fit (I know several of the guys have already fit them), B) A second shop said larger valves may slow down velocity (warmonger told me otherwise), C) I just didn't have enough time or funds to try and stick 3.0 L valves in there, and D) I thought it would be neat to see what 2.5L valves would do.
Citation, Vadim claimed/advertised his personal SVT put down 229 hp and 208 lb/tq. to the wheels, his car had EH heads, UIM/LIM, and SHM long tube headers. My car has hand-ported heads, EH UIM/LIM, and MSDS shorties. I'm hoping I'll break 220 hp.
Striped svt, yes, I'm looking into getting 3.0 badges, but I like the sleeper look, my engine still has the "2.5" cover! LOL.

I am also extremly intersed on how the 2.5 valves will do. I have 3L valves installed in mine and was curious if it was all worth it. Keeps us updated as anything changes.
I have yet to do any exhaust work to my car. I still have the stock SE single 2" pipe on there and its jsut killing me. Its a nice feeling just dumping on it and spining (well not to nice, wish it wouldn't spin and just go ) Its fun doing it in 2nd gear
