Its been cold here in Ottawa, Canada the last few days.today's high is -20 C which I think is about -4 F.
My gas pedal was stuck at idle yesterday after work .I applied a small amount foot pressure and got no response. A vigorous shake up and down by hand loosened up the pedal and I was good to go.This has occured 2 out of the last three days.
Has anyone out there experienced this same problem and/or know why its happening?
Coincidently, after the first incident, my automatic shifter also has loosened up back to normal. It had been stiff to select from Park to Drive or Reverse and back to Park, although the transmission has worked fine.
