Using the MAF would most likely be fine.

I use the word "most" because it "may" lean out the mixture a little. (mainly up top) However after seeing several Vortech dynos with 02 readings that is probably a good thing.

Though even if it did lean out the mixture it is just minor.

I would try it and either datalog the ST O2 readings (best option) or watch your "blinky" light. I doubt if there would be a noticeable A/F difference between before & after.
