That would be the StreetFlight Contour V6 (MTX only) Turbo Kit.

It looks like my friends SVT was built in 3/99...good news.:)

More questions:
-What kind of datalogging is available for a 99 SVT Contour?
-Anything that can log knock counts, timing adv, and injector duty cycle?

Alex Pepper's OBD-II setup is the best for datalogging.

What about changing/replacing/recalibrating the stock MAF with the install of a SC? Is it needed? Will the stock MAF max out with the added air flow(8psi)?

Thanks again.

No need.

A MAF is just an instrument for measuring incoming airflow. No need to recalibrate it.

Now the supplied chip will recalibrate the A/F fuel curve. I don't know if they do it the proper way by reworking the MAF transfer function or by just using global multipliers (probably the later it's easier, but very crude!)

The stock 70mm MAF (roughly 58mm taking the center post into account) has supported up to 300 FWHP to date. That's probably getting to the level of it's flow limit. (~400 crank guesstimate)

The 75mm Pro-M (~72mm considering it's sample tube) should support 600-650 crank HP (serious overkill ) & do so without the large flow disruption of the center bar post.

Even though the stock MAF is "capable" of supporting good HP numbers. It is still a flow restriction. Swapping it out for a 75mm Pro-M on a moderately modified SVT nets good gains. (~5-8 FWHP) They should be even greater considering forced induction. (even a 5% gain = 13-15 FWHP!)

I have a Pro-M that is calibrated for my car (Pre-S/C, of course) and I contemplated using it. Will it give me better numbers on the dyno? Will it run crappy due to the higher volume of air it would have to monitor? My car runs like a top, now and I do not want to mess it up.

Using the MAF would most likely be fine.

I use the word "most" because it "may" lean out the mixture a little. (mainly up top) However after seeing several Vortech dynos with 02 readings that is probably a good thing.

Though even if it did lean out the mixture it is just minor.

I would try it and either datalog the ST O2 readings (best option) or watch your "blinky" light. I doubt if there would be a noticeable A/F difference between before & after.
