Don't forget to consider the width of your tires. Remember you are talking about a 20mm difference in tire width, of which I'd expect about 10mm on each side
The 215mm tire is going to extend beyond the stock 6.5" wide wheel about 25mm or just under an inch.
The 235mm wide tire is going to extend beyond the 7.5" wide wheel about 22.25mm.
On the inside, the factory distance from the hub face to the inside edge of the tire, if we go with a 49.5mm offset is: 132.05mm + 25mm or about 157mm or close to 6.2"
So, do you need to get to this value or smaller to guarantee that you don't hit any suspension components?
Of course what about the fenders?
But I think you are looking for an effective offset of 39mm or under to clear the inner components, but check my math since it was suspect before

and watch for clearing the fenders.
