And of course the cars that were around you were no doubt going around the same speed making you think you were only going 100kms. We understand. Personally I'm not going to lie and say I always drive the speed limit. I will say though that in the winter I don't tend to test the limits of my car.
just so you know there were no cars around us. it was me and him the nearist cars were behind us. there was no one in front of us

Alright alright. That said I know that I can feel the difference between 160 and 100.......but maybe thats just because I'm super sensative. All things considered all I wish to say is becareful however you choose to drive. Your life is the last thing you want to lose I would assume. Though in my case I think my lisence is a close second.

Geez, sorry to start one of these posts re: breaking the law, but we were by no means racing or endangering others, just a little fun between contour enthusiasts On the up side, I was coming down from University in Sudbury for a dental school interview in Detroit....which went very well I must say Tim

You're right on that, it's getting so bad at times that 120km/h should be posted as min on 401 across Toronto rather than the currently posted 100km/h max.

This is sadly true.
There are days where people whizz right by you at 160 km/h...and they look like they are slow
I guess after the accident, I've slowed down a bit. But when you drive with that many cars and trucks on the road, you have to go with the flow...or you'll be road pizza!

We all have fun with other owners, it's one of the best things about the CEG; meeting other enthusiasts. I've passed 1FASTDAD before but had to return to fuel saving mode shortly thereafter since a little orange light on my dash was screaming, "feed me!"
Nowadays my car sits at home though, paint curing in the cold and looking sad when the Explorer goes out to play.
