I was just wondering if YoDude with a Magnaflow or Dynomax is louder ( same, quieter ) than a Bassani with out baffles?

Also the reason I ask is I have got a Sho Shop Offroad Y-Pipe and I am a little worried about how it will sound, any suggestions ? Also does YoDude have better gains than Bassani?

the bassani is loud, I wouldn't even want to try it without baffles. . .I just put in a resonator it's that raspy.
I have no idea about the yo dude.

Technically one would expect it to be louder.
Yo-dude uses just one straight through muffler while the Bassani uses 2 baffled mufflers.
For that same reason the Yo-dude should "technically" out perform the Bassani or any other system using baffled mufflers or multiple mufflers/resonators (which is everything out)
I would choose the MagnaFlow Yo-dude out of their options. Magnaflow should give the best sound and help cancel out a good portion of the high pitch frequency range better than the other choices (rasp!)

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

Actually, the Yo-Dude is quite raspy inside the cabin. This exhaust is especially noisy when decelerating or changing gears. For this reason, I have bought a Magnaflow resonator to add to the Yo-Dude exhaust system (with a Magnaflow muffler) This exhaust sounds great when it is not being raspy!

Whoa i think you are confusing rasp with drone. My yo-dude has NEVER rasped, even from outside the car no rasp is noticeable. It can be very loud off throttle. This at times can be annoying, but it seems to be a fair tradeoff of having a loud system.

I have to quiet my yodude..I wanted loud, and I got loud. Love the sound, but the drone inside the cabin gets me at times. Where did you find the Magnaflow resonator? I can't seem to find any :-/
Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Oh yes, would it work to reduce internal drone when used in combination with a dynomax muffler? so i don't have to swap that one as well.
