Been using Mercon V, shifts a little smoother, especially when cold which doesn't happen here too often. Dropped down into the 20s a couple times the past 2 weeks. Made me homesick for the GWN.

(thanks Ford) We flushed out old fluid until fresh came out not sure how much it was but it was a lot. Filled machine twice and old fluid filled the drum 1.5 times..... Mercon V Holy Cow! Granted, they might have wasted about 15-20 minutes getting the car and tools setup. But when you have rusted fittings, on an engine compartment with little space as the Contour's, it'll take a bit of time to get everything hooked up.
