Looking good, How to? I so want T-RED headlights to match but being a daily driver I never had the down time to send em to Hightower. maybe I could od this on a weekend? Not for the faint of Heart I take it? makes me woozy thinking about $200 headlamp and a Dremel!

I am sooooo wanting to do that on mine. How do i do it? I just recently cleared them, and that was easy...but i like that look even better!!!!  :P

it can. The seal is obviously cut open via dremel, and once done you seal it with black RTV or clear RTV. It all depends on how you cut it, how good you put htem back together, and the life of your headlights (if they are smacked etc etc). Originally posted by DanKBud:

I'm also in the process of a headlight "project". Doing a lil more than painting but can't reveal all my secrets Anyways, i found some carbide tipped cutoff wheels at Sears that are the perfect depth for cutting open your lights. I only used ONE on both lights. You can't break these things!

Well to put it simple, the place where black/clear(silver) is where to cut. You have to do this all the way around with some kind of strong cutting tool (I used a rotary cutter). Trust me there is no other way. I tried "baking" and the lense started getting the infamous spider webs.  Well it may not look good (where I cut) but it is under hood and nothing a little cosmetic surgery can't cure.  Just a little tip, don't cut too deep.
