Well to put it simple, the place where black/clear(silver) is where to cut. You have to do this all the way around with some kind of strong cutting tool (I used a rotary cutter). Trust me there is no other way. I tried "baking" and the lense started getting the infamous spider webs.
Well it may not look good (where I cut) but it is under hood and nothing a little cosmetic surgery can't cure.
Just a little tip, don't cut too deep.
