My car vibrates a little at high speed. Had my car balanced twice no problem with tires. Had my left side cv axle replaced beacause it used to shake. What could be the definate reason? I also need to replace the lower ball joint control arm because the ball joint is dried out. I get most of the vibration from the steering and it increases around 70 - 90 mph and it goes away at higher than 90 mph.

If you have had you tires balanced recently then that can likely be thrown out as a casue. Other possibilities are, as you said the ball joint. Another is front wheel bearings.

Would'nt the wheel bearing make any noises. I had not replaced the wheel bearings yet. Does it have to make any noises??
