ok, i've searched and read a lot of postings on this topic...i have one quick question...

I got a Pioneer Premier DEH-740P headunit, i dont plan on getting a 4 channel amp for the speakers.

Aftermarket deck + no additional amp -> should i still bypass the factory amp??

If your aftermarket deck has an internal amp, then bypass the factory amp. You need an amp somewhere in the chain. Most likely your headunit has an internal amp, so bypass the factory one.

EDIT: your headunit has a 50x4 amp built in, so definately bypass the factory amp.

According to my mystique brochure, the factory amp is 80 watts. Sounds like poo~!
