Neither do I.

There's no way you're gonna have a "comfy" ride with a 19" whell combo. The damper stiffness required to control the rolling stock means the ride has to be VERY stiff to feel right, without any harshness or bouncyness.

I don't even feel that maxed-out Konis are enough for such a crazy drop. It's not the damper's fault, but the car is 1/2" away from the bump stops at that drop, and it comes in contact with them at every occasion.. so on and so forth....

I can go in VERY deep detail and bore you all out of your brains on specifics regarding the design of my Leda setup. Let's just say for starters that my damper's bodies were 2" shorter than Konis. There's more...

I love you wheels. Can you get a 47mm offset with those wheels. If not will i still rub with 215/35?

How does the VW Ride? What suspension are you using?

My VW's ride is very tight. No aftershock, no bounce-back. No initial harshness either, but that's something most people have a hard time quantifying. It's ALWAYS in control, and that's the most important thing. If I get the car airborne when it lands I want NO second bounce, it needs to settle immediately. I do get it airborne.

Suspension is Bilstein PSS-9 coilovers. 9-point adjustable compression damping (with rebound tied into it), with linear springs in the front and a progressive spring in the back. Upgraded anti-roll bars front and back, upper strut bars front and back, lower stress bars front and back and polyurethane bushings on all links and pivot points. Combined with VW's tight unibody it makes for a very interesting car to drive.. personal taste of course, wouldn't suit most people.

wrong. see the other post or two for offsets. i just answered them.

i WISH the bilstein pss9 setup was made for our car. when i first found out about them, i was pissed we weren't included.

anyone think there's any chance of having them made if we can get a big enough group buy.

how exactly am i wrong. jiggajerry said to always use 40mm offset wheels. he used the word ALWAYS. so if i'm wrong then EVERY contour on this site is supposed to run 40mm offset wheels. i think we both know thats not correct. uh, thats sounds pretty wrong to me.

I was talking about you stating 45mm offset was the way to go. If you read my other post you would have noticed that I stated the E1 wheel was 49.5mm offset
