Um, I think he means that there aren't any automatic SVTs, so it makes you wonder about their products...

Exactly

TOO SMALL! BTW it's around 495cfm effective area! (have to minus out ~1/4" from both sides for non-flow area)

That's smaller than a KKM (~540cfm) and the KKM is already known for dropping high rpm power.

Also it uses only a 3" O.D. flange!!! (figure ~70-71mm I.D) Again too small! The other MAF adapters for the Duratec are 3.5". (KKM, BAT, etc)

This is probably not even as larger as the stock MAF opening. (IIRC it's 72mm tapered to 70mm)
Definitely not as large as an aftermarket MAF's inlet or outlet!!!

This is definitely a SKIP IT!!!

Alot of the newer intakes I've seen lately also neck down like this one to 3" before the MAF. The K&N brand intake, Injen, Weapon-R, and AEM all use small mouth filters. I don't understand how they think adding a big restiction to their design is supposed to help flow?

The best bet is to buy a MAF adaptor from CTA/BAT/SP Motorsports and a big mouth 3.5" filter of your choice. This way there is no restiction before the MAF.

I definately agree, it is the lowest airflow(cfm) filter I have seen suggested for the SVT. What part # K&N do you use Demon?

I am using an RF-1027 with a 1/4" rubber spacer ring to take up the added space difference in flange sizes.

This way the filter's inner stop ridge does not block off any airflow.

I bought that kit also. The filter and adapter are about 1/4" smaller than the MAF. Top end throttle response suffered. I had to get a larger adapter and filter. The intake pipe is really good though. All said and done, I probably paid as much as one of the other kits.
