What do you guys think? Will a supercharged or turbo charged svt contour walk a 2000-2003 bmw M5 or M3 from a roll?

Try 0-60 in 4.7s and the 1/4 in 13.2s at 107.4mph! It's 3900lbs, but 400HP makes it hustle. And RWD would be an advantage, not a disadvantage.

LOL- they most certainly do not measure HP at the wheels-

thanks you made my day!

(just remember though= that just because it says 397 -or whatever the M5 is - hp doesnt mean its really that weak- look at the Cobra R. when tested against the Zo6 and Viper on the dyno - both the Z06 and the R where factory rateed at 385hp- but on the duno the Vette had about 347 rwhp and the R 375- so which one had more horse? well officially neither- but a dynoed difference of almost 30 horse- .....)

My father has a 540 that he dinan stage 2 tuned his car. here is a scan out of that catalog.

Unless they dyno them at the flywheel while the engine has everything installed like the manufacturer, I think it is at the wheels.

IIRC M5 is rated at like 444 hp at the crank.....so 394 would be about right at the RW.

here's an excerpt out of the back. the power is rated at the wheel hub.
