OP Russell-3L Hard-core CEG'er R Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 3,732 Pittsburgh, PA	i got kenwood 6x8s 3way in all the doors. they aint blown out or nothing, but it seems they jsut dont sound like they used to. is it jsut me or does that stuff accually happen? if it does, time to fryem w/ my amp (gotta love the 3 year bestbuy warrenty) Russell Oval Port 3L Nearly Done MTX75 w/ Homebrew Zetec FD and Torsen Complete

sound_contour_dup1 New CEG\'er S Joined: May 2002 Posts: 10 buffalo, ny	ive never noticed it with tweets, but i think the adverse wheather conditions of a car, like drastically changing temperature and moisture could weaken some cone materials in mids and woofers (especially things like treated paper or some plastics probably) and make them brittle or have an effect on the flexibility then again, thats just my common sense stab at it, where are the smart people?? Over time the magnet in the speaker is going to weaken thus making the speakers not sound as good as before.
