After a long, long debate about winter driving and moving to Calgary, we decided to sell our ZX2 for ... an SUV...

Given we'll be in the mountains it's really the best choice for us. The ZX2 was having problems with the highways after it was already salted. That, and six weeks of constant snow has just rendered the poor car all but unuseable.

We still have the Contour for weekends and short drives but I really enjoy sitting up high above the traffic and having confidence in my vehicle when it snows.

This rare model came factory equipped with turn signals even!! Holy! And we even plan to use them now and again.

Good Boy!! Bought a Ford! Dana, the Explorer looks real nice, and I love the Tan interior.

Just recently I talked a buddy of mine into getting rid of his GMC Jimmy, and buying the exact same Explorer, only he bought the XLT. You have the Explorer Sport. Good tastes man!

lol ... my wife hates 'em too. I dunno, they've grown on me a little, I kind of like them now. Hopefully, the two of you will stay away from my stripes.

I am so glad I live in a northern climate that doesnt get snow much (or at all this year) because I hate road salt.

I used to live in Northern Illinois, and you dont know how bad road salt can be until you start driving the Illinois toll roads...they salt those things so much. We drove a friend's Caddy down to O'Hare to pick up some friends that were flying in...the car was Burgandy when we left Freeport. 90 miles later, it was dirty white. No sign of the real color could be seen. There was even a layer of salt on the roof!

P.S. The wife looks like a hottie. Nice Catch.
