No, the revs don't get limited, the speed is just maxed out. I hit 25mph at 4k Revs, but that's it. I can sit on the gas to about 6.0k revs and still be at 25mph !! and 2nd takes me all the way up to 30mph now (I reset the computer and gained 5mph).
From about 2.5k revs upwards, the engine revs increase but the speed barely notches up 5mph, all the way to 6+ k revs.
With this how it is at the moment, I am getting smoked by things like cavaliers and escorts, I can't keep up with anything leaving the lights, the traffic behind me is honking as I'm flooring it in 1st and 2nd to get up to 30mph cruising.
I just don't have the acceleration or speed that I used to have.
Could it be the secondaries, I wondered that before, which is why I posted here. Although I would still expect a little more accelleration even if they weren't opening.
