i need to get rid of it but im way upside down.
3rd cyl. has no compression. could be an open stuck valve??
i wont know until they open it. I'm not sure it has become 3.0 time. or what my options are. I would like to keep it (cause i won't be able to offer a competative price if i sell it.) but i am willing to sell it at take over payments or even for what it's worth and i'll take the hit for the upsideness.
any ideas on how much damage do you think could've been caused. and how much $$ am i looking at for repairs?
and the car still has warranty... do you think i can pass it off as a warranty repair?

No. The valves are probably not causing the problem, its the piston or rings that are shot. Plus lets not forget the damage to other pistons that is not evident yet and is waiting to break the rest of the way.
IMO you need a new set of rings and/or some pistons and possibly valve work. The cost of this is so much that you may as well consider it 2 G's if you can't do the work yourself. Your options are new short block and a good valve job. This could be working toward a 3L where a 3L engine will run you $650-1100 depending on mileage and then you have the $300-$500 in valve/head work on top of that. Now while you have the engine out you may as well do the clutch which is $350-500 depending on brand. Add to that the misc. gaskets to the tune of about $400 and top it off with $1000 for labor. That adds up to about: $2000-$3000

give me ideas here. im about to dump this SVT into a lake!
oK...For our 2.5 liters, there are only dry kits availible, Atleast form venom which I do business a lot with. And as far as im aware of, NOS systems only does dry kits too.
So please someone correct me if Im wrong, but, How can you have a wet kit...and if you do have one where can i get one?
ANd please don;t tell me you can get it from Venom, becasue i know you can't because i work with them every day!!!!

I made my own wet kit...but........ the NX Ford EFI 'Unviersal' Kit 'should' work, though you will more than likely need a different fitting for the schrader valve. Also since the dry NOS kit 5115 (IIRC) work on the CSVT I'd imagine the Fox body wet kit would work as well. Also the NOSzle system would work too, but there are rumors about the manifold rubbing the the hood due to raising it about 1/2 or so, but nothing confirmed yet.
