The PCM can only pull out so much timing though.
Staying below 20% throttle kept my pinging away when I had 89 put in my tank. No way you should be racing anything until you empty that tank and put the proper gas in it. (Besides, you should keep your racing to a track anyway.) I just let my car idle outside work for 2 days to run the gas out.
As said before, octane boost in a bottle is worthless for what you need. A gallon (or two) of Xylene or Toluene - look in the paint aisle of a hardware store - is a nice effective octane spike.
