I used the stock 98 SE upper end. I had to have the heads milled alittle when the swap was done. Water pump failure and no idiot light lead to a slight fluctuation in the heads. I was told the compression would not change with the head work though.I am runing 11+ compression though. I read that Brad used regular in his car but is it ok as long as long as I put 92 in on next fill up? I will drain the tank today if the 87 will cause problems. I just dumpped 6,000 into my 3L. I don't want to do that again anytime soon.
