I had the 3L done back in Sep. I always put 92 in the tank but I recently allowed a friend to take it to the store. The car was low on gas so she put gas in it for me. Her intentions were good but I forgot to tell her to use 92 octane. She put Regular unleaded in. I live in Hawaii so the temp doesn't get too hot and it has been raining everyday since she put the gas in so its almost cold(low 60's) The problem....Last night I raced a new WRX and almost lost because there seems to be almost a miss, or hesitation if you will, at multiple points in the rpm's. I have never had this before and I was wondering if the low octane rating would cause that.
