alright wehn i am driving at like 50 mph or soemthign and i acclerate a lettle to keep it goin like up a hill. then let off the gas. When the radio and air vents are off so it is quiet. There is a winding down noise. i dont knwo how else to explain it, any one else had this happen, ??????? thanks

Yup All the time . But mine is usually from 80 and winding down, I think that it is just the trans. Anyone else with more information??

same. although less pronounced if i have the overdrive ON. i assumed it had something to do with backpreasure as i was driving hard. i have even revved up with O/D OFF got off the gas to start sound then clicked off the O/D and the sound deminishes. i have a '97 LX ATX.

noise is gone i took off the TB and used a tooth brush and whole can of carb cleaner and got all the build up off of the 3 little ports that go downwards and hte noise is now gone. It started up hard after all the carb cleaner but it runs great now.
