On a 99, I would get the undercarriage of the car washed, and then spray the bushings with a Silicone Spray. They should not be worn, where they need replacement. Just probably squesking from the Road Salt.

I had a similar squeaking but only when i hit bumps. Mine car is a '96 with 157,000 kilometers (95,000 miles). The noice was caused by wear to the bushings on the front stabilizer bar which I replace at a cost of $200 CDN. No more squeak!

Could be control arm bushings or stabilizer bar bushings. Maybe even the strut spring rubbing. Silicone won't harm anything, its pretty inert.

They should be in stock since worn bushings are common. Or go to your local aftermarket parts supplier like napa, pep boys, etc. Or you can go aftermarket and pick up a set of urethane bushings, they are a little pricier but will result in slightly better stability in cornering.

Squeaking is from the sway bar bushings (best to replace them) and front A arm bushings rattle. I speak from experience.

I have the same problem with my car it squeeks every now and then somtimes it is really bad it even squeeks while turning left or right. The noise is coming from the driver side. I took the car to the tire shop and they told me I have to replace the whole left side sub frame. Would it be neccessary to do the right side as well. Does this worn dried out lower ball joint cause any vibration at high speed because I had the tires balanced and my cv-axle checked and it is fine and I still get a little vibration on the front dash and steering and also on the seats as well. If I replace my lower ball joint assembly will this cure my vibration.
