You still have a vacuum leak, if you can't find it you will have to pull the intake and replace the gaskets.

Yep, my vote goes toward a vacuum leak. I did have a similar problem one time when the maf became dis-connected, but I'm sure Contourgirl would have noticed if that was the problem.

Found the problem. We sprayed carb. cleaner around the upper intake gaskets and the car returned to a normal idle. Needs a new upper intake gasket. I will follow the intake rebuild in the 'How To' section, as I was going to do last year.
What a relief. At least I know what's wrong with my beast after all!
Thanks for all replies, I hope this helps anyone else who has the same problem. I will keep you posted on when the gasket is replaced how things work out.

Finally my worries about that issue are over for now.
She's fixed!

Also, thanks guys for the suggestions. Thanks Rogerm60 and WESSV. Great advice.
We tried and tried and finally solved the problem. It cost me about $35 to fix this problem. To think, a dealer would have charged me alot more just to figure out what's wrong with my car.
Thanks again for all of the helpful suggestions! All is greatly appreciated!

my car kept stalling out like crazy, and i threw lean codes. changed UIM gaskets and cleaned UIM and TB, put it all together, turned the key, fired right up, idles like brand new ! highly recommended to do it.

now my starter is dying...
