exclusive items=
different color (Midnight Blue, and Praire (IIRC) Tan) leather

different things such as stiffer motor mounts and different rate springs and shocks and anti roll bars. differnt wheels and front calipers- the list goes on and on- but realistically not that much except what you said and cosmetic changes

In my opinion if you can buy a svt BUY IT if you want one and can't afford it buy a se. When I bought mine about three years ago it was the wifes and I realy had not seen a contour as nice as mine (at the time) Lord help me I almost bought a ricer (it was the bad times) but If I would have known where to get a svt I would have bought one hands down.

Some of the differences:
Larger front brakes
ABS standard
Dacromat finish on all four brake rotors
Different spring rates and sway bars
Different front strut valving on late 98 and newer
16" wheels and Z rated tires
Unique interior with perferated leather seats
Different clutch and flywheel
Additional 25 to 30 HP (depending on year)
Improved engine air intake with cone type filter
Larger throttle body (same size as 3.0 Duratec)
Extrude honed intake manifold and intake ports in heads
Hotter cams
Different pistons with higher compression
Quasi dual exhaust
Body kit ground effects

Buy a SVT. If you can't afford one, get a pre-98 SE, best bet I've found: 96 SE. The shocks (or springs?) are even a bit stiffer than the SVT, and it still has all the little goodies ford started leaving out (lighted door handles, glovebox light, etc)

Damn, I've got to get some better pics soon - see sig:
