What's interesting is that the Nikon D100 and the S2 are Very similar, with the Fuji costing a few hundred more. Fuji has a unique dual battery type system. One type is for camera drive, other is for the electronics.
Missy, the bottom line you have to ask yourself are two or three questions.
1)What am I going to do with the images? Digital presentations or make huge prints?
2)How big do the camera files need to be? Do you really need S2 pixel interpolation or are 8mb ok?
3)How much do you want to spend?
You surely have the money. Don't forget and the image multiplication, 1.5x. If you want a wide lens you have to go extra wide to get the same effect. You need a 17 to look like a 24. Upside is a 200 becomes a 300

We just ordered 4 new Kodak 14N bodies. It'll produce 40mb files

I can' wait until February
