Yeah, I've wondered about the bearings...sure hope not...sounds expensive..
If I accelerate, then depress the clutch, while leaving it in gear, it's smooth....no unusual vibration.

I may be using the wrong terminology for what I called the motor mounts. One that I replaced was the front, below the radiator. The other that I replaced was the rear, below the firewall. I think they are roll resistors.
Today I drove about 200 miles, and by the end of the day, the vibration was almost gone. Not totally gone, but much less vibration than yesterday. Blamed if I can figure it out.
