Honkeytonk Monkey Hard-core CEG'er H Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 3,264 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan	I can put the HU from my Focus in an 89 Mustang, but I'm not sure about the contour to a ranger. It would depend on weather it's a premium sound unit or a base unit. The PS units need the external amplifier as they have no internal amplifier. Only the base cassette player has it's own amplifier in the Contour. My H/U, albeit an aftermarket H/U came out of my 89 stang and went into my tour in about 20 minutes. The connectors were even the same for both cars. Turbocharged trolling around here somewhere.
