Either Edmunds is full of dung, or the used car dealers I've been at are full of it too.
I have been looking for an inexpensive work car, say a mid 90s Escort. Several in the past few weeks. They wanted over $3,000 for a couple of 93/94 Escorts with over 130K on the clock! $2,000 for a 94 Tempo with a broken speedo (miles?). A local Ford dealer wanted $5,500 for a 95 Escort w/ about 80K!
I didn't even want to bargain with these bozos; some sucker will pay the asking price, however!
