That looks like a Richbrook e-brake handle not OBX. I could be wrong though...

So there I was, stuck rush hour traffic, in the fast lane, and I could do a dam thing except sit there abd wait for the flatbed to show up.

I wasn't even driving hard.

The little ball at the bottom of the shifter completely broke off, leaving a round hole where the ball used to be.

Anyone know if these come with a warranty?

How long have you had this on your tour before it broke?

Easiest way to fix it now is to find a ball stud the same size as the one that broke off. Get one that has a threaded shaft so you can bolt it in place. Someone else did this with a B&M that broke.

If you're in Detroit, J&L Industries or Suburban Bolt might have the ball stud you need.

Not very long. I picked it up around August 2002.

Thanks for the info Stazi...I will probably pick up a new one though...assuming OBX will not replace it...this time I will go with a sifter with a warranty....i.e. B&M

Why?
You'd rather pay $160 for a B&M rather than $5 for a new ball stud to repair the one you have?

That makes sense.

Seems like you could buy two OBX from the recent group buy for the price of one B&M.
