Well I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to motor mounts, but wouldn't you need to get the motor off the old mounts to replace them with new ones? And that I wouldn't be able to do without the proper equipment.
The top two mounts do a good job of holding up the motor so there really isn't a lot of tention on the motor mount at the bottom ( Front one we are talking about)If you had a set of ramps that you use for oil changes then you could do it with them some tools and your tire jack. Use you tire jack to relieve little or no pressue from the mount and remove. You will really only need the jack for when you put the bolt back in to the new mount. The old one is so worn that it really just sits in there doing nothing.
So how much do the full urethane mounts decrease wheel hop by? A [censored] load. I went from mad crazy wheel hop to no wheel hope most of the time.
Also where exactly are the motor mounts located under the hood? The mount is under the front of the motor. It is mounted to the radiator support I believe. I hope this has been helpful and answered all you questions. P.S. worth every penny.

Where can you get the full Urethane mounts? I was going to replace the full mount anyways, so I figure I'll go all the way.

I replaced mine wiht the one from the sho shop. I can't complain about their service, they were very helpful to me. The mount and bushing that they have toughter is a nice combo. The mount is a ford part but it is aluminum with the polyurethene bushing pressed in. The mount in my car was a cast iron looking piece and very heavy. The mount and bushing from the sho shop weighed about a 1/3 to 1/4 less than the assembly that I took out of my car.

I'm not understanding why you want to buy a new mount? It's the insert that needs to be replaced, that's what will absorb the shock of the drivetrane movement. Buying a whole new mount, will just be well, buying a whole new mount. That's all.

Well you could do what Sho Shop sells and get new mounts and then put in the inserts.

I still don't get why you would want to buy a new mount when it won't function any differently thsn the old one? But, hey if you feel the need it's your car and your wallet.
