Some 2.5's have problems with wear on the chain guides,this leads to a lot of chain lash on start up as the tensioners (oil fed) take up the slack.In most cases this can be checked by removing the cam covers and looking for witness marks of the chain hitting the head/cover casting when slack.If this is your case the chains etc and the cams have to be changed as the cam gear is part of the cam and cannot be removed from the shafts...good luck...
