So this is my dilemma. I have a 95 Tour SE V6 110 K. may need tranny work along with bunch of other things I estimate 25-3500 to make it tip top. The body is in good condition except for those annoying stone chips on the hood.
I like the car it fits me well. It handles well has good power and its not a cop magnet. I have always wanted to fix a car up and after recently becoming reacquainted with this site I have the strong urge to do so. I don?t owe a dime and she is all mine. Hey get this the wife gave me the ok to make it a project car. Can you believe it? She is great.
Anyway if you watch what is coming up in the auto industry there are some cool cars coming out. And I know I?ll get some feathers ruffled for this but I have my eye on the WRX.

I know I know it?s not American. My wife has a 2001 Legacy. It has 28k on it I have needed any service since the day we drove it off the lot. Just Oil changes. It runs flawlessly.
So I took a test drive in the WRX. I went to Subaru in Chicopee MA I asked the sales geek to take for a ride, a young guy said lets go take it up to the MA Pike.
When I left the toll plaza I left in second gear started into the apex of the on-ramp at a Normal speed the Sales geek says get on the ***** see what?s she?s got so I did. By the time I reached the merge to the highway I banged third gear at over 90MPH. My tour would never make the corner like this car did what a rush.
So what would you do spend 2 to 4 grand on basic repairs and then start the endless bleeding of your wallet into aftermarket parts? To get something you may not be happy with. Or do you do the repairs you have to and save the doe for something new on the horizon.???
By the way I have heard from some of you on this site and you make it a hard decision. That is to give up my tour.
It seems like a lot of you are like family to each-other and why would I want to leave a group of car owners like that. You seem like genuinly honest and friendly people willing to help out a fellow car owner in need.
I wish all of you health happiness and hopefully some wealth. Drive on!
