Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position 225/50/YR16, that's the best street tire out there. If you have to settle for less, get either the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP or Bridgestone Pontenza RE730 Gen II. I'd run 225/50/16. It might rub a little on the fenderlip, but just roll the lip and you'll be fine. Can't beat the grip the 225 tire widtht is going to give you.

Yep, they stick like a mother.

They don't last long enough in street use...and with some age, those mothers, sing loud...like a slave in chains.

215.55.16 works on your SE. That's good news! thanks.

as far as rubbing, i have 17" rims that are 7.5" wide with KDW G force 215-45-17's on them. no problems with them so you sould be fine with 225's but you will have what i call the "baloon effect" on your tires. my sidewalls are flat and are stiff and it rides very nice. i currently have stock suspension but i have all the springs and such ready to go on in the spring after the snow is done.

215/45 on a 7.5" wide rim is too narrow. I had them on a 7" wide rim and was worried about my rims.

My advice...don't skimp on tires...

I got the A2's also, comparing to GY Eagle LS they stick very well in the dry, i do feel the roll too, and in the wet are actually worse then the Eagle LS. Oh and i got maybe 2 out of round from Tire Rack. Rumor has it that Dunlop has a small problem with making round tires. IMO, A2's are more of a summer tire then an all season.
