But I guess if we didn't have the poorly built north american cars to compare to the others there would be a lack of apprication for the germans.

I was thinking about dumping a couple of grand to spiff up the car. But sense caught up with me. I'll just take the cash and save up for something nicer. For now the 'tour will help me appriciate the next auto I buy just that much more.

Thanks Ford.
Preach on brother. I totally agree. The SVT tour is a great car for the money and was one of Americas best kept secrets and thats what makes it special. Its just sad that Ford did not support it and the dealerships suck azz. The quality was spotty and poor too. But you wont see yourself coming and going. When i see a SVT tour is still turn my head and say "that sure looks sweet". I do see a few in the Louisville area but most have been butchered with cloud catcher wings and 18inch chrome wheels. To each their own i guess.

The SVT tour is a stepin stone for a BMW which still is the sports sedan king. Every car company trys to shoot arrows at BMW but always miss the target. Lexus has it close with the IS300 MTX...but thats about it.

Happy motoring and enjoy your great cars.
