Hey guys, does anyone know the calculation or what I am looking for. I have 19lb injectors, But I still have the stock MAF and stock ECU, with the 3.0 as most know. Now I have the S-afc was thinking, I am running stupid rich at low throttle due to the computer thinking I still have 16lb so it is telling it to push the injectors the same amount even though they are 19lbs, am I thinking correct? if so how much do you think I should subtract on the s-afc for fuel on low throttle? and high throttle for that matter? Just a thought and I havent figured out a way to calculate the added fuel that the computer isnt reading. any thoughts? on a side note, I wired the fuel pump up to a switch and hooked up the svt computer tryed to start the car and it did start but then died, then it would start everyonce in a while then cut off. would this be the crank sensor? what other thing does the pats system shut off besides the fuel pump? Oh well. anyone with information, that would be great. Site looks good! Micah

Try this. Seeing as the 19's are rated to flow 19% more (18.75 to be exact) than the 16's. Try setting the low setting to -19/-20 and taper it off up to 0 around the 4500rpm mark.
Something like this 1k**1.5k**2k**2.5k*3k*3.5k*4k*4.5 -20*-20**-18*-16**-12*-8**-4**0
See how that works for you....

I'll go with Stazi on the SAFC setup, however on the SVT computer, now you are running into a similar problem you had before. The computer is set for 19#'s with the MAF still reading for 16's and the two aren't communicating. The best solution is to get the MAF rebunerd to your current setup and then tweak slightly with the S-AFC. FYI when running my 42's for the first time even with the AFC set as far as it would go to pull fuel, I fouled out plugs in less than 5 minutes.

Yes, it's the fuel calibration in the ECU that is different. I think my suggestion should come close to resolving your problem, Micah.

At-a-boy! I just hope some of the assclowns on this site that question my every word, read this post and realize, that "Hey, perhaps Stazi does know what he is talking about". Ah, fuug 'em
For you WOT settings, it's hard to tell sitting behind this computer and all and not riding in the car and seeing it for my self.
I assume you did the blue wire mod right? You frikkin' better have or I am gonna sap you. Anyway. Do some 3rd gear pulls with the "Sensor Check" menu up and watch the #2 input voltage. That's the O2 voltage. What you'll want to do is do a number off runs, from 3000 up and watch the voltages (helps to have someoe you trust to drive the car and YOU watch the voltage). Concentrate on 1000rpm bands at a time (so as not to confuse yourself). Start with 3000-4000 and work up to 4000-5000 and on to redline etc. adding or subtracting fuel at those rpm points in the HI setting a little at a time and watch what happens. You want to aim for around 0.91-0.92V (roughly). Make sure the driver is NAILING the pedal otherwise it'll be off.
In this instance a datalogger, like a laptop with OBD2 scanninfg software would help as you could simply do a run recording O2 voltages against rpm and then looking at the graph afterwards and add/subtract fuel as required. Then do another run and check again.

Hey, perhaps Stazi does know what he is talking about... Naaahhhh, couldn't be... BTW, I still have the Stazi "how to" of the Apexi S-AFC install/street tune. I love it when other people do all of the hard work and take notes. Go to it boys!!!

of course I did the blue wire mod, thanks for the little faith. lol. I am going to wait till someone with a obdII scanner is near. I trust that more then the s-afc, or maybe get it dyno tuned. What an idea. lol thanks for the help.
