I don't personally like wood grain in a car (well, maybe I'd deal with it in a Lexus or something)...check this: Yuck-o! I hope that this isn't anyone that is on this site's car...but, even if it was (cause it's at a dealer now), it's still pretty nice! I'm just not too big on the interior. Ugh!

don't forget 98+ mystique LS, I think all of them, have a wood grain dash in them from the factory
I know definately that 2000's do since I have looked at a few
- 95 Mystique LS - Zetec/5spd
- 99 Contour SeVT Sport - Duratec/5spd

K, um, I like it. Some is a bit excessive (like around the cupholders - ick!) but the rest tones very nicely with the Midnight Blue interior.
That certainly is a beautiful SVT!

I think it would look better w/o the red trim around the edges of the wood grain. Wha dup wit dat? Still it doesn't really fit with the overall feel of the car... Might be better in person tho

check out the pedals. It looks like they are missing the rubber covers. It might help a clumsy or big footed person handle the pedals better, it would be easy for your foot to slip off especially if they were wet.

weird I'm not a big fan of woodgrain on any car ('cept bentleys) that red trim is pretty strange. look at that superdong shift knob!

I think wood finish in any everyday car does not look good. The cheap wood in the Nissans looks like crap IMHO and is the first thing that turned my off on the Altima. To each there own. The interior looks like is is well done in this vehicle.
