Yeah, lean burn is a nasty way to sacrifice a good engine. I did this same thing as you before on an old 5.0 Mustang that I used to have. It was from my 4th or 5th test-n-tune run trying out my new NoS system, and it didn't take me long to realize that my fuel pump was then too small! . Yup, I should've had a cockpit mounted fuel pressure guage, or an NoS fuel low-pressure cutoff switch installed that day. Because it was like 6 or so grand right down the drain. That's why these days, I just love a bone stock car anymore. Because I can count on it everyday, no more gambling
