One step ahead of you on the piston idea Brad. I remember what we talked about after I receieved the "broken bits" award at SZ last year. Time to start a tradition!!!

Yeah, lean burn is a nasty way to sacrifice a good engine. I did this same thing as you before on an old 5.0 Mustang that I used to have. It was from my 4th or 5th test-n-tune run trying out my new NoS system, and it didn't take me long to realize that my fuel pump was then too small! . Yup, I should've had a cockpit mounted fuel pressure guage, or an NoS fuel low-pressure cutoff switch installed that day. Because it was like 6 or so grand right down the drain. That's why these days, I just love a bone stock car anymore. Because I can count on it everyday, no more gambling

Yeah, except for Rick's wasn't a lean burn failure. Detonation city, here we come!

OK since Spatt seems to have a hand fetish here's the other by popular request. Funny thing is I had this picture from doing the swap last winter! BY the way for those that don't think working on this car is dangerous, check out the cuts and abrasions!
Youch!!!
