After a fast 400 mile road trip, my Contour now stumbles a little when idleing or taking off from a start. If I gas it, it smooths out. Replaced plug wires, fuel and air filter before trip. Could it be the plugs? Any idea what plugs are best? Whats the gap? Thanks John

its not definitely your coil pack. i'd go with the plugs first. i had the same problem and it was solved with a plug and plug wire change.

its the unit that all your spark plug wires plug into. trace one and ye shall find. laugh

cost is about 80 bucks for an oe unit.

plugs are much cheaper and are more likely the culprit than your coil pack. get some autolite double plats.
