sorry guys i'm to lazy to search, but i was wondering if everybody that has the zetec mtx feels the boost when the car hits that magic marker, cause at one point i even asked my mecanic if i had a turbo hidden under there,espacialy in third gear i easily get up to 115 km/h. Those darn rice cakes can't follow

That would be your powerband talking.
It is really not pulling that hard, just that it is not really doing much before that point.

Well I don't know about the rest of the atx owners but I know on mine that while under heavy acceleration when it hits 3500rpms, there is a definate boost of power.

you're not the only one. my car is like a rock until it gets some revs up (no tach). unless it's having a good day, my car is very slow off the line, though everyone once in a while it'll jump on up.
