I had a problem very much like that. It turns out the front sway bar had moved ever so slightly to the left and was now rubbing against the lower control arm on the right side. By removing the wheel and using a crow bar, I pulled the sway bar back towards me just a little and the problem was solved. (Take the wheel off and look for a shiny surface which will indicated contact between two suspension pieces, which shouldn't occur. Remember, the rest of the underbody should be dull and dirty, so a shiny spot is a warning)
Hope this helps.
P.S. Be sure to check your front sway bar links. If you hear a rattling sound from the front end over small bumps and undulations that is a good sign they're bad. I've replaced mine twice now...
I also have a 95 SE
Other things to look for
1: The link that connects the secondaries to the valve that opens them, had to replace the plastic pieces that hold the link in place.
2: Front sway bar links
3: Rear sway bar links
4: Fuel door lid doesn't always open even after repeated pulls on the lever (clean around the fuel door lid and apply a little armor all or silicon spray, it'll never stick again)
5: Catalytic converter replacement
6: Low coolant light (add more coolant above full line)
7: clogged or dirty throttle body.
Not too difficult to fix them all, except cats but that was covered under recall.
